Brandon picked Dane and Aidan up from school today. Here was the conversation on the way home:
Dane: Dad, did you know that some letters start with other letters?
Brandon: What?
Dane: Like "W". D-d-double-you. W starts with D like Dane.
I must admit, I'm a little confused myself. And I have been utilizing the letters W and D for several years now. I just hope Dane doesn't try to explain this to his classmates in Kindergarten in a couple of years. They'll never learn to read.
I will be sharing this cute story with the kindergarten teacher I work with at school. (That is so smart, Dane!)
